Building the Creators Platform to let our customers create content

Building meaningful and shared connections with our customers is something we are always working towards. As a brand that prides itself for being inclusive, real, and accessible it is our priority to make our customers feel every time they come in contact with any of our products. “Your brand is what others say when you’re not in the room”, succinctly put by Jeff Bezos this quote expresses our laser focussed approach towards delivering and achieving that feeling.

This burning desire to build personal connections with anyone who resonates with us translates into everything that we do, especially our marketing efforts. As an intimate brand we want to empower women to be comfortable in their skin without being forced into anyone else’s view of what they should be. Whoever they are, wherever they’re from – we’re #HereForIt.

From today, anyone who wants to be an advocate for Adore Me can do so through our completely automated program. The Adore Me Creators program is here to enable anyone to be an Adore Me influencer and of-course be rewarded for doing so. This transparent and seamless program allows anyone who is interested to automatically sign up and get into a system that allows them to create content, the way they want.

With no prerequisites – the system automatically detects when someone tags or mentions us in their post / story and rewards them with a $150 gift card. There is a light filtering process, but once they’ve been approved all they have to do is tag us! The idea is quite simple – if someone wants to be associated with us, here’s an opportunity to do that. Through our tech driven platform we want to give creators the chance to express how they feel through the content they’ve been waiting to create.

By democratising influencer marketing – we want to let creators do their thing. By staying out of their hair, this is a chance for them to dream and connect with our brand. If they feel it, they should be able to run with it. That’s what we believe. The only thing we do mention (not a rule, just a suggestion) is to keep the content as real and genuine as possible. With natural lighting and little to no retouching (again, just a suggestion) the intention is to inspire and empower women to be proud to share the truest versions of themselves.

As many marketers struggle to find the right influencers for their campaigns – for us the right influencer is anyone who believes in us and wants to support us. “I was nervous about this shoot, but I’m so happy I did it. Felt great and confident”. A powerful message shared by one of our creators that truly encapsulates our reason for doing this. If we can give women the power to face their insecurities and come out of this feeling stronger and more confident, the beautiful images are just a bonus.

By giving creators the opportunity to style hundreds of our products their way, we hope to inspire more women to venture out of their comfort zones and embrace their bodies. Confidence is contagious and this program is a true celebration of that. By taking a strong technological approach to an otherwise manual process, we want to extend this opportunity to as many women as possible. To make them see how special they are – because nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is.
